About Pack 19
Established in the 1970s, Cub Scout Pack 19 is chartered by American Legion Kiltonic Post 72 and serves families throughout Southington. We have members from Strong, Oshana, Kelley, Flanders, Hatton, and Thalberg elementary schools. Our pack welcomes children in kindergarten through fifth grade from any elementary school in the area!
Pack 19 gives children the opportunity to learn new skills and make friends while giving parents and caregivers meaningful opportunities to spend quality time with them. Our family-centered program includes nature hikes, campouts, camp cooking, Pinewood Derby and LEGO car races, rocket building and launches, model boat races, board game nights, and sporting events.
Pack 19 is a volunteer-led organization. Families participate together, and parents and caregivers help make our special events possible by sharing responsibility for planning and leading activities throughout the year.
We generally meet on every other Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Joseph A. DePaolo Middle School, with additional activities held at parks, camps, and other locations. New families are always welcome to visit a meeting, attend an open event, or contact us to learn more. No previous Scouting experience is required.

We look forward to welcoming your family to Cub Scout Pack 19!
